Corporate Eights

Introduction

The Koninklijke- Holland Beker has a legacy in single scull events. World class elite rowers race together with international student crews and juniors single sculls at the same regatta course. This year, the world’s top rowers compete in the 3rd World Rowing Cup. You can compete between these top rowers in the Corporate Eight event.

Rules and Regulations

Besides the FISA World Rowing Cup and Para-rowing events, the Holland Beker also offers the following additional events:

Singles Quads Eights
(91) Junior W 1x (93) University W 4x (95) University W 8+
(92) Junior M 1x (94) University M 4x (96) University M 8+
(97) Corporate 8+

These events are held on an 8-lane course, under FISA Rules of Racing. The Corporate 8+ event (97) will be held Saturday afternoon around 13:30 hrs. If the number of crews is larger than 8, multiple heats will be organized. The fastest crew in any of the heats wins.

Contestants in this event:

  • Must all be affiliated to the same company or group of companies.
  • Must row in a 8+ (eight with coxwain)
  • May be mixed (i.e. any number of women or men in the crew is possible)

The entry fee is € 850,-, including 2 drinks per rower. Other hospitality offerings are possible as well, please consult a.vasvisser@hollandbeker.nl.

Entry Procedure

Please submit your entry via e-mail to regatta@rotterdamregatta.com.  Please include in your message:

  • The name of the company
  • The names and sex of the rowers and coxwain.

We will confirm the receipt of your e-mail and will provide you with payment details. Your entry is confirmed after the payment of the entry fee.

Entry deadline: July 1st 2019.

When needed, let us know if you need help with renting a boat. This is done via regatta@rotterdamregatta.com.
